What You’ll Do
- Serve as a key member of the Facilities leadership team and act on behalf of the Facilities Director as needed.
- Assist in developing project scopes, budgets, timelines, and resource plans for complex facility initiatives.
- Analyze facility needs and provide recommendations that support long-term infrastructure planning and organizational growth.
- Build strong relationships with program leadership and stakeholders to ensure facilities support exceptional service delivery for youth and families.
- Plan and manage projects with Facilities Director and VP of Facilities & Supply Chain Management.
- Manage work orders, repairs, upgrades, safety checks, relocations.
- Work with Adelphoi technicians and hired contractors to keep jobs moving.
- Help ensure compliance with applicable building codes, licensing requirements, life-safety standards, and organizational policies while proactively identifying opportunities to improve facility performance and risk management.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management, construction, maintenance operations, or skilled trades, including responsibility for project coordination and vendor management.
- Experience leading projects, coordinating teams, or providing functional leadership strongly preferred.
- A dependable, solutions-oriented leader who takes ownership, anticipates challenges, and drives projects to successful completion.
- Able to balance strategic planning, project coordination, and hands-on problem solving in a dynamic facilities environment.
- Able to balance the need of a leadership role with the need to climb a ladder to ensure the work is done.
- Previous experience leading team members or project teams.
- Demonstrated ability to influence others, coordinate resources, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and lead through accountability and collaboration.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and 21+ years old.
- Trade school, technical certification, construction management coursework, or related education preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to pass a post-offer drug screen, clearances & physical.
