About the role

The Assistant Facilities Director assists in hiring, training, supervising, and developing the employment of those supervised in accordance with company policies and directives. They also provide support to the janitorial team, monitor uniform adherence for engineering staff, and manage facility-related operations including maintenance and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the evening security team by providing scheduling, training, and task assignments.
  • Ensures the cleanliness of the facility is maintained on a daily basis, including special projects.
  • Maintains inventory of chemicals and supplies, and ensures compliance with safety data sheets.
  • Monitors facility systems for safety and security, conducting daily walk-throughs.
  • Affirms department operations within established guidelines, manages expenses to budget, and processes payroll accurately.
  • Communicates effectively with senior management, managers, other employees, vendors, members, senior staff, owners, sponsors, and clients, public agencies.
  • Promotes harmonious relations among members, staff, vendors, and the community at-large.

  • Demonstrated experience in problem identification, analysis, recommendation of options and development of logical and workable solutions.

  • Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player.

  • CPO certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as WORD, EXCEL, and OUTLOOK.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or equivalent accredited degree or professional certification is desirable.
  • At least three years’ experience in maintenance and/or housekeeping operations.
  • Business and Management Principles, Policies and Regulations, Management of Personnel Resources, Management of Financial Resources, Sales and Marketing, Problem Anticipation/Deductive Reasoning, Written Comprehension and Expression, Oral Comprehension and Expression, Computer Skills, and Experience.

Pay

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 / year

Schedule

Full-time schedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days and evenings.
