Responsibilities

The Assistant Extrusion Line Operator helps control and monitor the film production of their designated line(s), oversees the quality, house-keeping, and safety of the designated extrusion line(s), and maintains clear communication with all Plant Departments to produce quality base film.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of prior manufacturing experience required
  • Prior machine operator experience a plus
  • Prior experience working in extruding or blown film extruding is a plus
  • Understanding of basic math
  • Able to read a tape measure and understand basic measurements
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs and climb stairs
  • Able to work 12 hour shift with overtime as needed
  • Able and willing to climb stairs and be ok working with heights

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a drive to learn a state-of-the-art machine and grow in the packaging industry, previous experience operating a machine or working in a manufacturing setting, and a willingness to work 12-hour shifts.

Skills

Pay

Starting wages for assistants range from $19 - $21+/hour, with a $4/hour shift differential on D-Shift.

Schedule

D-Shift: Thurs – Sat and every other Sun, 6pm – 6am, with overtime as needed.
