Responsibilities

• Safety Awareness
• Recognize equipment hazards
• Follow safety procedures
• Machine Setup and Operation
• Thread machines and set up for different web paths
• Adjust unwind for splicing (3", 6", 12" cores) and perform flying and manual splices
• Prepare and handle raw materials and resins
• Safely load/unload rolls and change rubber/chill rolls
• Properly manage waste and scrap materials
• Quality Control
• Check substrate smoothness and identify paper defects
• Read specifications and set up machines to meet those requirements
• Forklift Operations
• Complete PIV safety pre-checks and inspections
• Safely move materials with forklifts and clamp trucks
• General Duties
• Keep machine areas stocked with materials
• Store and dispose of waste materials properly
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.

Schedule

Shift 2-2-3 rotation between days and nights 12-hour shift.
