Assistant Diving Coach (PT)

About the role

The Part-Time Diving Coach assists the Head Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Coach in all aspects of the University's NCAA Division II diving program. Responsibilities include coaching, student-athlete development, recruiting, and supervision of diving facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of diving training programs
• Coach diving events and provide individualized instruction
• Supervise diving facilities and equipment
• Participate in recruiting efforts for diving athletes
• Work closely with the Head Coach to ensure compliance with NCAA rules and regulations

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience coaching diving at the collegiate level
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
• Experience with NCAA Division II athletics
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
