Temporary Position: Assistant Dive Coach
This part-time position is responsible for assisting the Head Swimming and Diving coach in the management and administration of all phases of an intercollegiate sports program in a manner that upholds the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Athletics and the University. This position requires adherence to all policies and procedures of the Athletics Department and the University, as well as the rules and regulations of the NCAA and Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN). The position requires the ability to communicate effectively and to manage multiple tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist with on-deck coaching at practices and competitions
- Teach and instruct student athletes about the sport
- Recruit new student athletes
- Provide academic supervision of athletes
- Coordinate travel arrangements
- Assist with program management and other tasks as assigned by the Head Coach and Director of Athletics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Knowledge of NCAA Division I athletics dive program
- Knowledge of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations
- Knowledge of Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Collegiate coaching experience
Pay
$1,600 per month
Schedule
This is a temporary, part-time position requiring 30-40 hours per week. Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as determined by business need.
Anticipated start date: July 1, 2026.
