About the role
The incumbent of this position is responsible for assisting with the prosecution of criminal cases. The work involves responsibility for participating in the prosecution of cases of criminal violations of law in the County by investigating, preparing, and presenting violations, misdemeanors and/or felony cases in criminal court.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the prosecution of cases of criminal violations of law in the County by investigating, preparing, and presenting violations, misdemeanors and/or felony cases in criminal court.
- Exercise independent judgment in planning and carrying out the details of the work under the general supervision of the District Attorney.
- Perform related work as required.
Requirements
- Possession of a license to practice law in the State of New York.
- Special Requirement: Must be a U.S. citizen in accordance with Public Officers Law.
- Residency requirements will be in compliance with 2005 local law #3.

- $102,700-$118,105/YR. (Management Compensation Plan)
Schedule
