Assistant Director, Specialty Masters Programs
About the role
The Assistant Director of Specialty Masters Programs will have primary responsibility for program management, operations and student services for the Questrom MS in Business Analytics program and a shared role in supporting the other Questrom Specialty Masters degree programs. The Assistant Director will report to the Business Analytics Master's Program Director, and work closely with the Master's and PhD program staff. The Assistant Director will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the student experience for a growing enrollment of MS in Business Analytics degree students, which currently comprises two overlapping cohorts of 100+ students each.
Responsibilities
- Program management and operations
- Academic student support
- Managing student events such as orientation and community building events
- Assigned other projects relating to all graduate students
- Sharing in general administrative responsibilities as a member of the Master's & PhD Center team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred
- One to three years of experience in counseling, student services or higher education administration
- Occasional domestic travel may be required
Skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Highly organized and able to multitask
- Prior event planning experience preferred
Schedule
Full-Time/Regular position; some evening and occasional weekend work required.
Pay
Expected hiring range: minimum $60,000.00 – maximum $68,000.00 (Salary Grade 47). The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison.
