Assistant Director Recruitment (Education)

The Assistant Director of Recruitment will provide leadership to a team of Recruiters who are responsible for recruiting and placing professionals for assignments throughout the US.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
- Identify and implement improvements to streamline workflows and enhance the overall effectiveness of recruitment operations.
- Develop training, best practices, and resources for new and experienced recruiters.
- Manage and leverage recruitment technology tools, including the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), to streamline processes and enhance the candidate experience.
- Utilize data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven decisions.
- Lead and supervise a team of recruitment coordinators, administrators, and support staff.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Monitor and drive department metrics and reporting.
- Implement initiatives to enhance the overall candidate journey.
- Mitigate and/or resolve concerns for impacting field professionals.
- Cultivate an environment of accountability, responsibility, and trust amongst the team.
- Attract, select and retain talent through participation and ownership in the interview, selection and onboarding process.
Requirements
- 5 years of Recruitment experience in the service industry and/or business management preferred.
- 3 years’ experience in a leadership or managerial role is required.
- Staffing experience required; education industry knowledge and experience preferred.
- Proficient technical skills and knowledge of computer operations and applications including MS Office products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with recruitment technologies, including ATS.
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
- Ability to identify and address challenges within recruitment processes.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Adaptable to changes and emerging trends in recruitment.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Business Administration or related field preferred or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
