About the role
The Assistant Director for Operations will serve as a Residential Experience leadership team member within the Department of Housing and Residential Life. This staff member will provide leadership to one of the residential neighborhoods, responsible for ensuring all communities are operating at full potential. In addition, they will lead the department’s efforts in creating and overseeing policies and procedures for the residential experience unit that impact residential students.
Responsibilities
- Oversee on-call scheduling
- Lead health and safety inspections
- Create and review unit handbooks, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Oversee opening, closing, and break housing
- Help directly supervise Residence Directors
- Promote a sense of belonging for all students living on campus
Requirements
This position will report to the Associate Director for Residential Experience.
