Responsibilities
- Develops and implements social media strategies to elevate University branding and ensure a consistent brand voice.
- Creates, curates, and schedules high-quality copy, images, and video assets using a structured content calendar for consistent posting.
- Manages a diverse network of student creators through the “Ramfluencer Program” to source and pitch authentic, high-performing user-generated content (UGC).
- Recruits, onboards, and manages seasonal student interns, providing creative mentorship and quality control to maintain strict brand standards.
- Partners with campus departments to execute targeted campaigns promoting University events, programs, and achievements.
- Maintains a strong social media presence by monitoring channels and engaging professionally with students, alumni, and faculty to foster a vibrant online community.
- Attends on- and off-campus events to capture real-time photo and video content.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in social media management.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.

Schedule
The position is scheduled for 35 hours per week.
Pay
The starting salary for this position is $82,000 with a maximum starting salary of $90,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
