About the role
The Assistant Director of Residences oversees and manages the operations of the residences, providing administrative and managerial support. Key responsibilities include:
- Hiring and training of all Residence team members
- Payroll, scheduling, and performance feedback
- Financial management: annual budget, HOA billing process, resident spend tracking, billing accuracy, and invoice checks
- Handling resident queries and resolving issues
- Day-to-day operations coordination, including resident events and maintenance oversight
- Assisting with new owner orientations and resident recognition efforts
- Developing and implementing profit improvement ideas
- Liaising with hotel/resort departments for service requests
- Managing resident interactions with high levels of hospitality and professionalism
- Leading residential recognition efforts and maintaining homeowner profiles
- Maintaining open communication with hotel/resort leadership for resident engagement
- Producing a monthly spend report for review by key hotel/resort personnel
Requirements
Qualifications for this role include:
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in hospitality or related field
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality or residential management preferred
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and business acumen skills
