About the role

The Assistant Director of Recruiting and Admission Operations supports the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University in enhancing its reputation, relationships, and visibility through integrated mission-based recruiting plans and admissions policies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management and Marketing to develop and execute annual recruiting plans.
• Respond to inquiries from prospective students and represent JST at various events.
• Plan and execute in-person and virtual campus visits for prospective students.
• Ensure outreach to diverse communities to engage prospective students.
• Manage the collection of admission and scholarship-related documents.
• Create academic files for JST’s registrar and oversee the scholarship award committee.
• Maintain the Slate online application portal and manage the collection of I-20 documentation.
• Develop and implement guidelines to support the functions of the unit.
• Track and measure the effectiveness of recruiting efforts and prepare regular reports.
• Lead the analysis of admission and scholarship policies, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or higher preferred.
• Three to five years of experience in recruitment, admission, or related responsibilities, preferably in higher education or a non-profit organization.
• Understanding of Jesuit education values and the GTU.
• Knowledge of best practices in recruiting and graduate enrollment.
• Excellent writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Spanish proficiency is preferred.

Pay

$77,600 - $93,170 per year; compensation will be based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
