About the role
The Assistant Director of Operations plays a crucial role in managing a specific area or cost center within a client location. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and leading the area, ensuring high standards in food quality, service, and compliance with company systems and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control budgets, track costs, manage waste, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
- Coach, train, and supervise managers and hourly team members, ensuring competence, productivity, and achievement of department goals.
- Create exceptional guest and client experiences by actively seeking feedback, building rapport, and modeling Parkhurst Hospitality standards.
- Ensure sanitation, safety, and health regulation compliance.
- Plan, organize, and direct the food preparation and service of food.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience, including 6+ years in food service management; degree in Culinary, Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- Skilled in monitoring budgets, tracking costs, controlling waste and overproduction, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
- Focused on creating exceptional guest and client experiences, actively seeking feedback, building rapport, and modeling Parkhurst Hospitality standards.

$1.51-3.5M in managed volume
