About the role

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON - LPN) supports nursing leadership to deliver high-quality, compliant resident care in skilled nursing or assisted living settings.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and develop nursing staff
• Assist with program administration to uphold care standards
• Provide clinical guidance to team members
• Collaborate with medical staff and administrators on nursing services
• Support resident assessments, care planning, and documentation
• Ensure medication management adherence
• Participate in quality assurance and survey readiness activities
• Promote a safe, respectful environment aligned with the organization’s values

Requirements

• Current LPN license and registration
• Graduate of an approved nursing program
• Knowledge of nursing procedures, medications, and long-term care principles
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Passion for senior care and resident advocacy

Physical demands

Involves assisting with resident transfers and mobility.
