Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nursing services, including working the floor and overseeing the med cart.
- Manage clinical staff to ensure state standards of quality of care are adhered to.
- Ensure all shifts are adequately staffed.
- Assist with day-to-day functions within the nursing department.
- Collaborate with the Director to identify and resolve departmental deficiencies with implemented correction plans.
- Identify and address any quality-assurance auditing issues.
- Train clinical staff.
- Assist with care plans and assessments and participate in care conferences.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with the Director of Care.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Great customer service skills.
- Previous nursing experience in an Assisted Living Facility (preferred).
- Previous supervisory skills (desired).
- Ability to communicate with co-workers, residents, family members, and business partners.
- Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal and external sources.
- Ability to make complex decisions requiring a high degree of judgment, affecting the overall operation of the facility.
- Must be flexible, compassionate, and dependable.
- Must be knowledgeable of assisted living regulations and guidelines.
- Valid Nursing License.
- Valid Driver’s License.
