Assistant Director of Nursing - LPN

Pay Rate: Starting at $75,000

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing services, including working the floor and overseeing the med cart.
• Manage clinical staff to ensure state standards of quality of care are adhered to.
• Ensure all shifts are adequately staffed.
• Assist with day-to-day functions within the nursing department.
• Collaborate with the Director to identify and resolve departmental deficiencies with implemented correction plans.
• Identify and address any quality-assurance auditing issues.
• Train clinical staff.
• Assist with care plans and assessments and participate in care conferences.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with the Director of Care.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Great customer service skills.
• Previous nursing experience in an Assisted Living Facility (preferred).
• Previous supervisory skills (desired).
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, residents, family members, and business partners.
• Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal and external sources.
• Ability to make complex decisions requiring a high degree of judgment, affecting the overall operation of the facility.
• Must be flexible, compassionate, and dependable.
• Must be knowledgeable of assisted living regulations and guidelines.
• Valid Nursing License.
• Valid Driver’s License.
