Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Stratford, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring that patient care is delivered in accordance with established standards and policies
- Collaborates with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement nursing programs and policies
- Conducts regular rounds to assess the quality of patient care and identifies areas for improvement
- Provides guidance and support to licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants, and other nursing staff
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with patients, families, and staff
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives and contributes to the development of quality metrics
- Maintains confidentiality and adheres to all HIPAA regulations
- Assists with budgeting and financial planning for the nursing department
