About the role
We are currently seeking an RN for our Assistant Director of Nursing position at Creekwood Nursing & Rehabilitation, a 104-bed skilled nursing facility located in Russellville, Western Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Meet the nursing medical needs of all residents
- Coordinate infection control
- Educate the staff
- Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff
- Provide 24 hours on call support
- Coordinate and direct the total planning for nursing services
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff
- Oversee daily staffing process
- Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs
Requirements
- Active RN license required
- Long-Term Care experience required
- Management experience preferred
- Staff education experience preferred
- Excellent Communication Skills required
- Flexible hours required
