Schedule: This position is a part of the Nursing Management Team and will regularly work Monday through Friday with rotating on-call and Manager on Duty. Role We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team! The ADON must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited college, be currently licensed in the appropriate state without encumbrance, be responsible for maintaining professional licensure and CEU requirements. It is preferred that the ADON candidate has 1- 2 years of supervisory experience in a geriatric setting. Current CPR certification is also required. Responsibilities Oversees the Service Plan initiation and updating of service plans.Assists in all phases of the delivery of nursing care for residents. Assists with evaluating current residents and potential admissions to ensure Maggie’s Place can provide appropriate level of care.May assist with hiring and providing orientation/training and retention of a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out nursing programs and all other duties as assigned.Complete residents assessments timely as assigned by the Director of Nursing.Participates in service plan meetings as necessary.Complete audits as assigned by the Director of Nursing.Participates in on-call rotation.
