Assistant Director of Nursing

About the role

Assists the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations governing the center.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements policies and procedures for the Nursing Department
• Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Directs the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department
• Collaborates with the Director of Nursing, Administrator, Medical Director and other key stakeholders to ensure appropriate care is provided

Requirements

• RN license with experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
• Experience in healthcare administration or management preferred
