Assistant Director of Nursing

Prosper Infusion is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our Tampa home infusion team. Responsibilities

• Clinical management of an assigned patient caseload
• Supervision of field caregivers
• Direct patient care
• Adherence to all applicable State/Federal regulations, accreditation standards, and company policies/procedures
• Coordination with the Director of Nursing
• Patient management, including:
  • Performing infusions and injections
  • Infusion recertification and skilled visits
  • Infusion admissions
  • Infusion on-call duties
  • Managing physician orders for infusions
  • Participating in Quality Assurance / Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities

Requirements

• Current unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
• At least two years of current nursing experience as an RN, with a minimum of one year’s experience in home health or a related field
• Experience with infusions involving all intravascular lines and multiple drug classifications
• Direct supervision experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills in a patient care setting

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Baccalaureate degree in nursing accredited by the National League of Nursing, or other 4-year college degree preferred
