About the role
At ExcelCare at Dover, our philosophy is guided by one principle: enrich the daily lives of those in our care. Located at 65 N Sussex St, Dover, NJ 07801, we are seeking a compassionate and organized nursing professional to fill the role of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This position is a key leadership role that supports the Director of Nursing and ensures the highest quality of care within our skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and supervising the nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care
- Support compliance with all regulatory guidelines and facility policies
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for nursing staff
- Address resident and family concerns with professionalism and compassion
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in New Jersey
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory nursing role preferred
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Pay
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 annually
