Assistant Director of Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and custodial staff
• Coordinate facility and capital improvement projects
• Oversight of building systems
• Support energy management
• Respond to facility emergencies as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of five years of experience in maintenance, construction, or the building trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and roofing
• Flexibility in scheduling, including on-call responsibilities for emergencies
• Regularly require lifting up to 100 pounds and working in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with facility management software, and knowledge of safety protocols are preferred.
