About the Role
This is a non-faculty professional position within the operations and compliance unit of East Carolina University's collegiate sports department.
Responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring compliance with NCAA, conference, and university regulations.
- Monitor and interpret compliance rules and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct audits and investigations related to compliance matters.
- Develop and deliver compliance education and training programs.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of required compliance reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in NCAA compliance or a related field.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in sports administration, higher education, or a related field.
- Experience working in a collegiate athletics compliance office.
- Familiarity with compliance software and databases.
Pay
Anticipated recruitment range: $44,000 - $47,000 per year.
Schedule
Full-time position.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Most positions require employees to reside in North Carolina or within a reasonable daily commuting distance from their duty station after hire.
