Job Summary
Supports the promotion and visibility of FIU Athletics by providing play-by-play commentary, producing digital and broadcast content, and creating engaging multimedia coverage across television, streaming, social media, and FIUSports.com. Serves as play-by-play commentator on radio, TV, and streaming, as well as assisting with live productions. Generates, updates, and maintains publicity through new media, creating an online following to promote intercollegiate athletics. Serves as the intercollegiate athletic department's reporter which includes gathering information through interviews. Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed.
Departmental Requirements
- Previous experience working in an Athletics Department
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of appropriate experience
- OR a Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization
- OR six (6) years of appropriate experience
- OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
