Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a dedicated team of academic advisors
- Train and mentor staff to enhance their professional development and advising skills
- Assess and evaluate advising performance, providing feedback and direction as necessary
- Cultivate a high-performing advising staff that proactively addresses challenges
- Manage strategic communications and lead initiatives that support student success
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, humanities, social sciences, or related field
- Minimum of five years in advising, counseling, mentoring, or academic administration at the college level
- Proven management and supervisory experience in a staff context
- Experience with strategic communication planning and outreach via social media and email
- Demonstrated ability to foster inclusive relationships across diverse backgrounds
