Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a dedicated team of academic advisors
  • Train and mentor staff to enhance their professional development and advising skills
  • Assess and evaluate advising performance, providing feedback and direction as necessary
  • Cultivate a high-performing advising staff that proactively addresses challenges
  • Manage strategic communications and lead initiatives that support student success

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, humanities, social sciences, or related field
  • Minimum of five years in advising, counseling, mentoring, or academic administration at the college level
  • Proven management and supervisory experience in a staff context
  • Experience with strategic communication planning and outreach via social media and email
  • Demonstrated ability to foster inclusive relationships across diverse backgrounds

Pay

$90,000 – $95,004 annually
