Responsibilities
- Conduct direct assessment: With McGraw Center senior staff, design and execute assessment plans that measure reach and impact of new and existing programs.
- Interpret data and regularly present analyses to Center staff and other stakeholders.
- Develop processes for making data-informed decisions about the Center’s work.
- Consult With Faculty:
- Cover outreach to faculty.
- Design and implement assessment plans at the project, course, and departmental level.
- Consult with faculty on assessment plans included in requests for funding.
- Consult with faculty on customizing questions for SETs.
- Collaborate With The Senior Associate Director On Faculty Development:
- Help plan, facilitate, and assess programs such as New Faculty Institute.
- Regularly lead faculty workshops focused on assessment best practices.
- Conduct literature reviews on relevant topics in teaching and learning.
- Review applications for Center-sponsored grants.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree and 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Sophisticated knowledge of educational assessment processes.
- Demonstrated ability to design and direct assessment projects at different scales.
- Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data, as well as present them in multiple forms (including graphical).
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly and cogently for different audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely and collaboratively with faculty and administrators across a university setting.
- Highest level of tact and professionalism.
