About the Role
As an Assistant Designer, you will support Design leaders in creating an assortment that aligns with brand positioning and target customers.
What You'll Do
- Build, create and maintain tech packs, trim sheets and design packages
- Ensure accurate data entry into Product Lifecycle Management
- Assist in meeting preparation and breakdown, including room setup, samples, reports and creating boards and line sheets
- Gather and analyze market and trend research
- Ensure understanding of the supported brand, foster innovation and remain updated on the competition
- Complete pre-packages as a part of the research and development process
- Additional tasks may be assigned
Required Skills
- Familiarity and moderate proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Ned Graphics, Kaledo or related program
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or related field
- Previous retail experience
- Previous experience in design or product accessory business and the competitive landscape
- Domestic travel may be required

- Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs
- Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating, preparing reports, etc.
- Ability to plan, prioritize and monitor activities across business units
- Ability to complete or oversee the completion of assigned projects in a timely manner
