About the role
Assistant Designer supports the design team in the creative execution of product lines.
Responsibilities
- Aid the Senior Designer in developing seasonal lines, including technical sketches, line sheets, and CADs.
- Create presentation boards and other visual tools for milestone meetings.
- Support preparations for Color & Concept reviews, Line Presentations, and other key meetings.
- Complete and coordinate design details for product development with the technical design team.
- Affirm the selection of trims for development and follow up with production to ensure timely execution.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in apparel design, fashion design, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in apparel design- internships included.
- Skills: Working knowledge of garment construction and measurements. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and Word. Strong organizational skills, creativity, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
