About the role

This position trains and develops Product Sales Specialists and ensures customers receive exceptional customer service and product information.

Responsibilities

  • Act and work in a manner consistent with company's core values
  • Demonstrate safe lifting practices and understand company philosophy
  • Drive and teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing
  • Provide direction to Product Sales Specialists for high-quality customer service
  • Complete product specialist certification courses
  • Understand and ensure proper merchandising, pricing, and organization of the department
  • Communicate SOPs and changes to all associates
  • Pass industrial truck proficiency testing and certification
  • Communicate inventory needs to management
  • Direct and assist merchandise processing to the showroom floor
  • Validate product placement and pricing
  • Greet every customer courteously and assist with product questions
  • Process customer transactions using POS system
  • Handle customer refunds and exchanges according to guidelines
  • Present 'how-to' classes to customers
  • Follow cash, check, and credit card acceptance procedures
  • Stock and tag merchandise displays

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of customer service/sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding and compliance with company policies
  • Physical requirements: ability to lift, carry, push, pull, stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Sensory requirements: use hands and fingers, use vision, use hearing

Pay

Compensation details are subject to change and will be communicated to successful candidates.

Schedule

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pickup Hours: Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
