About the role
This position trains and develops Product Sales Specialists and ensures customers receive exceptional customer service and product information.
Responsibilities
- Act and work in a manner consistent with company's core values
- Demonstrate safe lifting practices and understand company philosophy
- Drive and teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing
- Provide direction to Product Sales Specialists for high-quality customer service
- Complete product specialist certification courses
- Understand and ensure proper merchandising, pricing, and organization of the department
- Communicate SOPs and changes to all associates
- Pass industrial truck proficiency testing and certification
- Communicate inventory needs to management
- Direct and assist merchandise processing to the showroom floor
- Validate product placement and pricing
- Greet every customer courteously and assist with product questions
- Process customer transactions using POS system
- Handle customer refunds and exchanges according to guidelines
- Present 'how-to' classes to customers
- Follow cash, check, and credit card acceptance procedures
- Stock and tag merchandise displays
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of customer service/sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Thorough understanding and compliance with company policies
- Physical requirements: ability to lift, carry, push, pull, stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Sensory requirements: use hands and fingers, use vision, use hearing

Compensation details are subject to change and will be communicated to successful candidates.

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pickup Hours: Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
