Assistant Controller $135k to $150k

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee cash management, including rolling 13-week cash forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analyses.
• Manage accounting team members, including AP and accounting staff, while developing department talent.
• Support audits, consolidations, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, lease accounting, and internal controls.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting and month-end close responsibilities
• Prior leadership experience managing accounting staff
• Strong experience with general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and cash management
