As the Assistant Construction Supervisor, you'll guide families as they build their own homes through the Self-Help Program. You'll ensure safe, efficient worksites, train participants in construction skills, and keep projects on schedule—all while fostering teamwork and confidence among the families you mentor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clients/volunteers in the building of homes under the Self-help TA grant guidelines
• This position does not supervise CPLC employees

Qualifications

• Professional building skills with union or equivalent construction experience; must have not only the skills but also the ability to teach them to others
• Must have the ability to delegate authority and responsibility
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Should have experience as foreman, superintendent or private building
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) desirable
• Reliable and responsible supervisor
• Individual is required to pay close attention to details
• Able to work weekends (Sat and Sun)

Schedule

Weekend schedule (Saturday & Sunday) with Mondays in the office.
