About the role
As an Assistant Manager, you’ll support the Community Manager in all community operations with an emphasis on accounts payable. You’ll engage directly with residents, play a key role in leasing apartments, and uphold our customer service standards. Assistant Managers are critical to maintaining smooth operations and delivering the RedPeak experience.
Responsibilities
- Actively support the Community Manager and team through mentoring, learning opportunities, and effective communication.
- Take a leadership role in resident relations and team support, ensuring professional service in all property operations.
- Supervise vendors to guarantee high-quality service for residents.
- Collaborate with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals, increasing and maintaining occupancy.
- Enhance RedPeak’s reputation through emotional intelligence and strong communication skills.
- Provide exceptional customer service to minimize resident turnover.
- Prepare apartments for move-ins, including walking units, preparing move-in gifts, and managing keys and lock changes.
- Maintain a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
- Uphold RedPeak standards by monitoring curb appeal, lead management, and compliance audits.
- Ensure properties are maintained to the highest market standards.
- Assist the Community Manager in daily operations, ensuring adherence to RedPeak policies and procedures.
- Maintain positive vendor relations, set service expectations, and approve bids for community projects.
- Manage daily accounting practices, including accurate billing, cash flow, delinquency management, and month-end reporting.
- Handle monthly invoice management, rent posting, rent collection, and delinquency tracking.
- Maintain fiscal stability, including budget management and financial performance objectives.
- Complete property financials, reporting, and analysis per owner/investor requirements.
- Coordinate with the Concierge Team to ensure non-recurring resident service charges are entered.
- Review and report budget variances to the Community Manager.

- 3+ years of property management experience, including on-site experience.
- Experience in supervisory roles with 200+ unit communities.
- Experience in writing and maintaining budgets.
- Proficiency in Yardi Voyager property management software.
- General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet platforms.
Pay
$25–$28/hour, plus bonuses.
Schedule
Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.
