Job Description
The Floating Assistant Community Manager (ACM) supports the effective management and operations of multiple residential communities within Greystar. This role involves assisting on-site Community Managers, managing resident relations, and contributing to property success.
- Assist in day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Oversee property maintenance, vendor relationships, and service contracts.
- Serve as a point of contact for residents or tenants, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Organize and coordinate community events.
- Aid in the leasing process, including conducting property tours and managing lease documentation.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote available units and amenities.
- Support financial processes, including rent collection and expense management.
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones and maintaining records.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations.
- Conduct regular property inspections.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist in implementing policies to maintain a safe and secure environment.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, Hospitality, or related field.
- 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Understanding of lease terms and enforcement.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
- Ability to adapt to different property environments and work independently.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS
- All required licenses and certifications as per State and Local jurisdictions.
- Valid driver’s license for golf cart use.
- Proficiency in Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs.
- Strong proficiency in property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Frequent exposure to outside elements may be unpleasant and/or hazardous.
- Access to all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities.
- Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to 20 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
