About the role
The Assistant Community Manager (ACM) ensures the daily operation of the apartment community runs smoothly by handling delinquency follow-up, ledger accuracy, leasing traffic, and resolving operational issues. This role supports the Community Manager, who sets overall direction and maintains ownership-level accountability. When the Community Manager is out, the ACM runs the site.
Responsibilities
- Work leasing office tasks including managing leads, conducting tours, moving applications through to executed leases, and handling renewals.
- Post payments, scan checks, monitor delinquency, make collection calls, and review ledgers for billing accuracy.
- Run the site when the Community Manager is out.
- Contribute to social media content.
- Keep the leasing office and common areas presentation-ready.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Two years of property management experience preferred.
- Six months in an assistant community manager or similar capacity preferred.
- Comfort reading financial reports and working within budget constraints.
- Confidence handling resident conflict without escalating it.
- CALP designation is a plus.
Pay
Hourly base plus monthly leasing and renewal commissions and quarterly performance bonuses.

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, with Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM. One weekday off keeps the week at 40 hours. Resident events and community-specific needs may require evening or weekend work periodically.
