Assistant Clinical Professor of Veterinary Nutrition
Overview
The Department of Anatomy, Physiology, and Pharmacology in the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine (AUCVM) invites applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position in small animal nutrition at the rank of Assistant Clinical Professor with an anticipated start date of May 1, 2026. Interested candidates should submit 1) a cover letter (including information on scholarly accomplishments, career goals, professional interests, and teaching philosophy), 2) curriculum vitae, and 3) names of three individuals who have been requested by the applicant to act as references to the search committee chair. Responsibilities
- Devote time to instruction (clinical and didactic; 50%)
- Conduct research (45%)
- Engage in service activities
Qualifications
- Eligible for faculty licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Alabama
- DVM degree (or equivalent) and must be a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Nutrition) or must have completed an approved residency and have met the requirements to take the ACVIM (Nutrition) board examination at the time appointment begins
