About the role
The Assistant Professor of Animal Science/Nutritionist will lead research initiatives in animal nutrition and genetics, contribute to teaching undergraduate and graduate students, and engage in community outreach programs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cutting-edge research in animal nutrition and genetics
- Teach courses in animal science and nutrition at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Develop and implement educational materials and curricula
- Participate in professional development activities and conferences
- Engage in community outreach and extension services
Requirements
- PhD in Animal Science, Nutrition, or a related field
- Experience in academic research and teaching
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Qualifications
- Research experience in animal nutrition and genetics
- Teaching experience at the university level
- Knowledge of relevant software and tools
