About the role

The Assistant Clinical Director (ACD) will work directly with the Site Manager/Program Director to implement and improve clinical programs. They will provide support in training, coaching, and guiding staff, and will advocate for the rights of the individuals served.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Site Manager/Program Director in implementing services, including clinical training to staff and program modification training for managers.
  • Make program recommendations and provide feedback to the Program Director on the status of clinical programs.
  • Maintain bi-monthly/monthly clinical minutes and ensure communication to the Program Director.
  • Supply necessary forms for behavior/academic books to program staff.
  • Train managers on setup of behavior/academic books and train the Site Manager/Program Director in clinical systems.
  • Provide support to the Site Manager/Program Director through modeling/feedback.
  • Provide feedback on staff performance through regular observations and assist in direct observation and feedback.
  • Advise the Site Manager/Program Director on program and individual needs.
  • Provide individual counseling, group therapy, and other direct clinical services.
  • Conduct clinical screenings and assessments, set up baseline materials and tools, and train staff on their use.
  • Assist in conducting intake assessments of new referrals to Vinfen.
  • Attend appointments with staff and external specialists as needed.
  • Present clinical findings and data, conduct training programs for new employees, and perform risk assessments and consultations on complex cases.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Master’s degree in Special Education, psychology, social work, or related field is preferred.
  • A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board is required for ACD II.
  • One to three years of experience in a clinical setting is required for ACD I; five to seven years of experience is required for ACD II.
  • Knowledge of advanced applied behavioral analysis, professional codes of ethics, and advocacy techniques.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, provide leadership, and build teams.
  • Knowledge of human, legal, civil rights, community, and other resources.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds using proper techniques.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a driver's screening background check if driving is required.

Pay

USD $87,781.00 - USD $87,781.00 /Yr.
