Assistant Chief Engineer
Responsibilities
Supervises and monitors the repair and maintenance of the power plant machinery and utility systems.
Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent, with two years vocational or military school training in high pressure boilers, turbines, generators, engines and building utilities or equivalent.
- Must have at least ten years of experience in power plant operation.
- Must possess management abilities to lead others, organizing work and workers.
- Must be proficient in reading electrical and mechanical prints and equipment manuals.
- Must be proficient in the diagnosis of equipment and operational problems and corrections as needed.
- A Chief Stationary Engineer License, and Universal Refrigerant License.
- Maintenance Electrician License preferred.
- A driver's license is required.
