Assistant Center Sales Manager, Stamford

About the role

Our Assistant Manager (ACSM) leads the front-of-house team to create an exceptional guest experience while ensuring all EWC Growth core values are consistently applied. As a member of the center leadership team, you will partner with the Center Sales Director to drive KPIs and sales through guest acquisition, retention, retail product sales, and team development. This is a full-time, hourly position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personnel management, including training, scheduling, and coaching associates
• Schedule shifts and facilitate weekly or monthly Strut or one-on-one meetings
• Review daily employee timesheets and submit for payroll processing
• Monitor, evaluate, and help maximize customer service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Administer check-ins and check-outs as required
• Process guest payments, refunds, and appointment requests
• Organize the Reservation Book based on guest requests and associate availability
• Educate guests on benefits and savings of Wax Passes and consistency with waxing to drive package sales
• Help develop and implement the store marketing program
• Assist with inventory (retail and COGS) and review all inventory counts weekly and monthly
• Oversee center maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and organization
• Onboard and train all new Guest Service Associates
• Co-lead Strut sessions with the Center Manager
• Handle weekly bank deposits and reconciliation of cash received
• Ensure all areas of the center, including storage rooms and desks, are neat, clean, and organized
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years of management experience, preferably in a retail environment; Key Holders strongly encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of POS systems
• Knowledge of computerized scheduling systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written communication
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate machinery such as a copy or fax machine
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time

Pay

$19–$21 per hour (based on experience) plus up to $6,000 in annual commission based on monthly sales targets, plus additional commission on wax passes sold.
