About the role

Oversees day-to-day operations for the branch and assists the operations manager of the location. Supports supervision of the daily activities of retail branch personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with operations, ensuring bank policy and procedures are followed.
  • Performs personal banking duties, including advising customers of all bank services, opening new accounts, and teller functions.
  • Assists with supervising employees to meet branch goals, including assigning work, scheduling, conducting performance reviews, recommending salary actions, and providing training.
  • Promotes bank services and participates in community activities.
  • Handles customer service duties such as answering telephone inquiries, closing accounts, ordering checks, and ensuring appropriate customer service levels.
  • Assists with compliance of branch policies and guidelines, reviews reports, audit boards, and NSFs.
  • Assists with budget preparation.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs any other assigned duties or projects.

Requirements

  • Full knowledge of banking products and initiative to stay updated on changes.
  • Basic knowledge of banking regulations, bank policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of deposit account products and services, bank operations, and supervisory abilities.
  • Skill in communicating courteously and professionally with clients and coworkers.
  • Proficiency in operating computer terminals, printers, back counter capture machines, coin machines, and copiers.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, train employees, and ensure efficiency, accuracy, and customer service.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment and function as a team player.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent. Prefer 2-3 years of related banking experience.

Pay

Hourly rate of $22.50 - $24.00.
