About the role
The Assistant Vice President (AVP) for the Morton Ranch location in Northwest Houston ensures that branch operations are effective, efficient, and in compliance with credit union policies and procedures. The AVP assists the branch Vice President to maintain the smooth flow of branch operations. They perform supervisory duties as directed by the branch VP and handle inquiries and situations that are more complex and require supervisory attention. This may include scheduling, counseling, problem-solving, training, development, and performance reviews.
Responsibilities
- Affirmatively achieve goals within the branch operations.
- Schedule and manage branch operations effectively.
- Counsel and provide guidance to branch staff.
- Solve problems and provide solutions to complex issues.
- Train and develop branch staff.
- Conduct performance reviews for branch staff.
- Handle inquiries and situations requiring supervisory attention.
- Ensure compliance with credit union policies and procedures.
Requirements
- One to three years of banking and/or financial experience.
- Experience in achieving goals within a professional setting.
- Saturday availability is required.
