About the role
Sound Credit Union is currently seeking an Assistant Branch Manager for their Federal Way Branch. This role is ideal for someone passionate about banking, with a desire to develop their leadership skills and support a team.
Responsibilities
- Coach and lead employees in the branch, maintaining a highly motivated and well-trained staff.
- Act as the go-to person for problem solving in the absence of the Branch Manager.
- Build long-term relationships with members by assisting with routine financial transactions, opening new consumer accounts, and helping them achieve financial milestones.
Requirements
- 3+ years of successful work experience as a Universal Associate/Personal Banker or equivalent position at a financial institution.
- Experience in opening new accounts and loans.
- 2+ years experience in a management role or demonstrated experience in a leadership position.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Must be bondable.
- Employer sponsorship to secure or maintain employment authorization not available.
- NMLS certifications are necessary for UA II level and higher and require US citizenship or permanent legal residency in order to be obtained as per WA State Law.

Pay
The target salary range for this position is $63,200 - $79,000 depending on previous experience and education. The full salary range is $63,200 - $94,800.
Schedule
This position requires an in-person schedule: Tuesday - Friday: 8:45AM - 5:45PM & Saturdays 8:45AM – 1:15PM. This position works 40+ hours per week as business needs dictate.
