Assistant Branch Manager

About the role

The Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a branch, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff, and achieving financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations, including cash handling, customer service, and compliance with banking regulations.
• Manage a team of tellers and customer service representatives to ensure efficient service and high customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase branch productivity and profitability.
• Ensure adherence to all bank policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate regularly with higher management to report on branch performance and address any issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a banking or financial services environment.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
• Strong knowledge of banking products and services.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
