Assistant Branch Manager

Heritage Landscape Supply is seeking an experienced Assistant Branch Manager in the agronomic, irrigation, and landscaping industry. Responsibilities

• Serve as secondary supervisor of all branch operations, including sales, service, delivery, and business development strategies to ensure branch achieves desired results.
• Maintain company culture and follow policies and procedures as implemented by Executive Management.
• Ensure the branch operates efficiently, cleanly, safely, and orderly for the benefit of employees, customers, and vendors.
• Stay informed about new products and changes to existing products.
• Comprehend, support, participate in, and educate others on promotion and advertising initiatives.
• Execute and support daily tasks such as order entry, answering phones, purchasing products, deliveries, end-of-day procedures, sales tax errors, and pricing/profitability.
• Focus daily activities on achieving the highest level of customer service and embrace opportunities to expand market share.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the landscaping industry is preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge, including typing, mouse use, and Internet navigation.
• Forklift experience is helpful.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a repetitive basis.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is helpful but not required.
• Full knowledge of managing a distributor of landscaping products is a plus.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical.
