Job Duties
- Confer with customers by telephone, email or in person in order to provide information about products and services, to take orders, or to obtain details of complaints.
- Quote, Workorder, Invoice, and Receive Payment for all services provided.
- Schedule and assign workorders to the appropriate team member.
- Be efficient in all duties required by all team members in order to provide support and/or backup for team members during installation of products and/or services for customers, including but not limited to unscheduled deliveries, damage reports, detailing vehicles, chip repairs, setting glass as needed.
- Provide training for current and/or new employees.
- Open and/or close the Branch; utilizing closing procedures to ensure all financial records are accurate on a daily basis.
- Complies with all safety policies and procedures.
- Obligated to keep confidential any information pertaining to customers and competitors.
- Responsible for the appearance and serviceability of the Showroom, Waiting Room, Shop, Company Trucks, and Restroom/s.
- Driving company or customer vehicles may be required.
- Order, Pick Up, Check In, and Inventory all supplies and freight for all services provided; insuring all product is clean and undamaged.
- Files claims for all damaged product and supplies.
- Insures all unused or damaged product and supplies are returned or taken care according to Speedy Glass policy.
- Maintains accurate filing system for customer orders, quotes, specialty products, voids, returns, and all other necessary files pertaining to the individual branch location.
- Sends and Receives all mail.
- All other duties as assigned by Management.
- All other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager and/or direct supervisor.
Requirements
- At least 2–4 years previous clerical and/or customer service experience
- Auto glass experience a plus but not required
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and ability to use and learn computer-based inventory control systems
- Demonstrated POS and MS Office proficiency
- High School or equivalent (GED)
- Excellent driving record as well as a valid driver's license
