Assistant Branch Manager
About the role
We are hiring an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in managing the team and overseeing branch operations.
Business Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30AM to 5:30PM. Flexible hours may be required based on business needs.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2+ years of analytical and problem-solving experience in branch operations, analysis, process improvement, and/or program/project management role.
- Preferred: Associate degree or equivalent experience, with minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
- Professional and effective communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Proficient in using all applicable MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
- Oversees team members with coaching, training, development, performance management, timekeeping policy adherence, and assisting in HR-related issues.
- Contributes to a supportive work environment, harmonious relations, and high team morale.
- Makes sound decisions and motivates team members to build exceptional teamwork during the Branch Manager's absence.
- Ensures branch operations comply with established policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Develops, coordinates, and conducts ongoing training on savings, lending, and cross-selling programs; assists in creating and implementing O.R.G.s; researches, proposes, and implements new and enhanced products/services to management.
- Aids in setting objectives, developing strategies, budgeting, and creating policies and procedures.
- Tracks operational and sales goals to ensure superior service and efficiency.
- Engages with local organizations and participates in community events to enhance CU SoCal’s relationships and reputation.
- Exceeds service expectations by consistently engaging and connecting with Members, resolving problems, and building relationships to uncover and satisfy financial needs.
- Completes understanding and actively applying the C.A.R.E. 4 Guide expectations and the Brand Communications Standards Accountability Philosophy.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Scale: Min $70,304 / Mid $79,976 / Max $94,830 per year. Actual compensation will be based on geographical location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
We support Pay Transparency and are a pay-for-performance organization that benchmarks base pay to the 50th percentile of market data.
