Assistant Boys Cross Country Coach (SAHS)

Location: Stillwater Area High School

About the role

To provide an opportunity for the development of the fundamental skills necessary to participate in a high school cross country program. Primary responsibility will be the organization and implementation of the program.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily coaching duties, including practices, games, and clinics
• All other coaching duties as assigned by athletic director/principal
• Follow District #834 Code of Ethics for Coaches

Requirements

• Successful experience as an assistant or head cross country coach is preferred
• Have participated in high school and/or college cross country or distance track and field

Schedule

• Activity length: 12 weeks
• After school/Saturday – practice and matches, 5-6 days per week
• Public performances: scheduled meets and clinics

Pay

Compensation based on time points plus service points.
