Responsibilities
- Master Koa’s systems, including but not limited to: Google Suite, Humanity, Wordpress, Canva, MailChimp, Team Snap, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Flickr
- Assist with handling all Flag Football game day operations including but not limited to staffing coaches and referees, creating teams, creating weekly game schedule, ordering jerseys and doing team jersey handouts, setting up and breaking down fields, inventory equipment, ensuring rules are being met by all members out on the field, uploading weekly scores, providing a great experience to all Koa athletes
- Assist with hire, train, manage, and oversee all Koa Flag Football staff (including coaches and referees)
- Drive the Koa vehicle to the field and properly set up/break down the flag football fields
- Handle Game Day issues & disputes that may arise including Koa staff, parent, and athletes
- Be able to fill in and coach or officiate flag football
- Assist with all sales/registrations with the goal of selling out/growing the league
- Professionally interact with Koa parents at any Koa event
- Answer general Koa phone calls and & flag football specific questions with Koa provided cellular (or application) and Koa provided email
- Coach attend, and assist After School Programs
- Coach, attend, and assist with all No School Day Events including managing staff, coaching campers, assisting with equipment inventory, and parent communication
- Work in conjunction with Koa’s Summer Camp Director to prepare for each week of Site Lead camp. Including; staffing, equipment, logistics, day planning, and parent communications.
- Oversee coaches, volunteers, and campers at each week of camp
- Oversee and ensure implementation of camp procedures including but not limited to; check-in/pick-up, activities, games and rules ensuring campers remain engaged and safe.
- Master and under Koa’s Rec Hoop League rules
- Run age-appropriate drills for athletes 4-14 years of age
- Can effectively manage substitutions in equal playing time and fill in coach/ref when needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficient communication; both verbal and electronic
- Youth Sport Coaching
- Event management
- Excellent problem solver
- Answer customer phone calls and speak to clients in person at events
- Can lift equipment that is at least 40 pounds
Pay & Benefits
- Salary: $38,000 - $42,000
