Under general direction, assists with the management of competitive athletic programs; assists with conditioning, practices, recruiting, travel arrangements, and student managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• 2 years related experience
• Knowledge of a specific sport's concepts/strategies and NCAA rules and regulations
• Knowledge of physical conditioning techniques and weight training
• Knowledge of basic statistics
• Recruiting skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Interpersonal/human relations skills
• Organizational/planning skills
• Leadership and motivational skills
• Ability to assess athletic talent
• Ability to serve as a positive role model
